Stray Kat Studio is a modern production company based in Chicago, led by creative producer Katherine Donovan. We work with brands, startups, and creators to develop, design, and deliver bold, high-quality content, from films and podcasts to branded digital video and social-first series.

About Us
Stray Kat Studio was founded by Katherine Donovan, a film producer and production designer with a background in scenic design, digital media, and storytelling. Kat earned her degrees from Savannah College of Art & Design. With her degree in Production Design (Scenic & Art Direction) and Film & TV Production (Producing), Kat built Stray Kat Studio to merge artistry and execution under one roof.
We’re a team of creative professionals who love the technical side just as much as the artistic. We believe in hands-on collaboration, honest communication, and creating work that holds attention. Whether you’re a one-person brand or a multi-location company, we meet you where you are and build from there.
